Propalooza is a free game. We collect as little as we can get away with: your display name, your birth year, and — if you give us one — an email address. We don't sell your information. We don't show ads today. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.

That's it. You can play without giving us an email address at all, in which case your account exists only in the browser you're using.

What we never collect
We don't ask for payment details, because Propalooza is free. We don't collect your precise location. We don't ask for a photo, a street address, or a phone number.

We may also send you occasional emails about Propalooza itself — a contest you're in, a change to these policies, or something new on the site. You can unsubscribe from anything that isn't essential to your account.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
We share it only with the companies that make the site run:
These companies process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We'll also share information if the law requires it — a subpoena, a court order — or if we need to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.
If Propalooza is ever sold or merged, account information would transfer to the new owner. We'd tell you before that happened.
Other players see your display name, your picks once a contest locks, and your position on the leaderboard. That's the whole point of the game. They don't see your email address or your birth year.
Today, Propalooza shows no advertising and uses no third-party analytics or tracking.
We may add them in future. If we do:
We will never knowingly allow targeted advertising to anyone under 18.
We use cookies — small files stored by your browser — for two things:
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but if you block the sign-in cookie you won't be able to use Propalooza.
We don't currently use advertising or tracking cookies. See section 5.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time:
We'll confirm, then delete your personal information — your display name, birth year, email address, and any Google connection — within 30 days.
What we may keep: information we're legally required to retain, and the picks and results inside other people's contests, stripped of your name.
Everyone. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email propaloozacontest@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
California residents. Under California law you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request deletion, to request correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of today. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Other US states. Several states now give residents similar rights. Whatever your state, ask us and we'll treat your request the same way.
Outside the United States. Propalooza is operated from the United States and your information is stored there. If you use it from elsewhere, you're consenting to that transfer.
Propalooza is for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has given us information, email propaloozacontest@gmail.com and we'll delete it.
If you're between 13 and 18, please get a parent or guardian's permission before using Propalooza.
We protect your information with standard measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), sign-in links instead of passwords, and access limited to what's needed to run the site.
No website is perfectly secure, and we can't promise absolute safety. If a breach ever affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.
We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever this changes. For significant changes — especially anything about advertising or sharing — we'll give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect.
