Propalooza ("Propalooza," "we," "us") is operated by Rick Cosentino, an individual residing in California. You can reach us at propaloozacontest@gmail.com.
Propalooza is a free website for running prediction sheets — "prop sheets" — about sporting events among friends and family. A host creates a contest, other people join with a link and make their picks, and the site keeps score.
Propalooza is for entertainment only. It is free to play. There is no entry fee, no wager, no purchase, and no cash or merchandise prize awarded by us. You are not risking anything of value, and you cannot win anything of value from us.
By using Propalooza you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the site.
We may change these terms. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date above, and for significant changes we'll give notice in the app or by email where we have your address. Continuing to use Propalooza after a change means you accept the updated terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Propalooza.
If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use Propalooza with the permission of a parent or guardian, and that parent or guardian agrees to these terms on your behalf.
Propalooza is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If we learn that we have information about a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us at propaloozacontest@gmail.com.
You sign in with an email link or with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to your email or Google account secure — anyone who can read your email or use your Google account can sign in as you.
The display name you choose is visible to everyone in any contest you join. Choose accordingly. We may change or remove a display name that impersonates someone else, contains slurs or harassment, or is otherwise offensive.
You may have one account. You may not sell, share, or transfer your account.
If you host a contest, you decide who to invite and you are responsible for the questions on your sheet, including any you write or edit yourself.
As a host you agree not to:
We can remove any contest, question, or account that breaks these rules, and we can do so without notice.
About paid pools: Propalooza does not handle money, and we don't allow the site to be used to run a pool where players pay in. Whether a private money pool among friends is legal is a question of your own state's law and your own responsibility, not something Propalooza enables or endorses.
Propalooza grades most questions automatically using sports data from third-party providers. That data is sometimes wrong, late, incomplete, or unavailable. Providers correct statistics after games end, feeds break, and questions occasionally can't be settled at all.
You agree that:
If a result matters to you beyond bragging rights, check the official box score.
You keep ownership of anything you write on Propalooza — contest names, custom questions, display names. By posting it, you give us permission to store, display, and share it as needed to operate the site (for example, showing your question to everyone in your contest).
You are responsible for what you post. Don't post anything you don't have the right to post.
Don't:
Propalooza is free, and we may change it, limit it, or shut it down at any time, with or without notice. We may also suspend or delete any account that breaks these terms.
We don't promise the site will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time using the "Delete my account" option in your account settings, or by emailing propaloozacontest@gmail.com. We'll delete your personal information within 30 days.
Some things survive deletion: contests you hosted may remain for the other players, and your picks may remain as part of another person's contest history, shown without your name attached. We may also keep records we're legally required to keep.
Propalooza is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will meet your needs, that it will be secure or error-free, or that any data, score, or result will be accurate.
Some states don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Propalooza and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising from your use of the site — even if we've been told such damages are possible.
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to Propalooza will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).
This is a free service. That limit reflects that.
Some states don't allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Propalooza and its operator from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the site, anything you post, your violation of these terms, or your violation of anyone else's rights.
Please contact us first. Most problems can be sorted out by email at propaloozacontest@gmail.com, and we ask that you give us 30 days to try.
Arbitration. If we can't resolve it, you and Propalooza agree that any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Arbitration will take place in Santa Cruz County, California, or by phone or video if you prefer.
No class actions. You and Propalooza agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, and not as part of a class or representative action.
Small claims. Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court instead, if it qualifies.
Opting out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing propaloozacontest@gmail.com within 30 days of first using Propalooza, saying you opt out. It won't affect your ability to use the site.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Propalooza is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League, any NFL club, the NCAA, any college or university, or any other sports league, team, or player. Team names, player names, and statistics are used to describe real-world events and are the property of their respective owners.
Whole agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Propalooza about the site.
If part is invalid. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
No waiver. If we don't enforce a provision, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours, for example if the site is acquired.

Propalooza is a free game among friends. These terms exist so that everyone knows what to expect — not to take anything away from that.
